Invitation to the Catholic Church through RCIA
Scripture says, “Be prepared to render an account for the hope that is in you. “(1 Peter 3:15) Well, could you? If someone said, “Tell me about Jesus,” what would you say? Is your faith alive? To be alive is to be growing and maturing. Most of us studied the truths of our faith years ago when we were still young children. But for many, little formal study has happened since. Some of us have never completed all three of the sacraments of initiation in the Catholic Church-Baptism, Holy Eucharist, and Confirmation.
The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) team extends to all an invitation to take a spiritual journey to full initiation into the Catholic Church. It is never too late to come to know Jesus. He will give your peace and joy that no man can.
Please contact the rectory (301-336-4443) or a RCIA team member (Kim Smith, Gail Carter or Janice Stewart) to continue this conversation.
