St. Margaret of Scotland Youth Ministry Program

The St. Margaret of Scotland Youth Ministry Program is specifically for youth who have received all three Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, Confirmation) and are of high school age (grades 9 to 12).

This program seeks to help young people find true happiness and life meaning through coming to personally know and love Jesus Christ in His Church. It is operated under the Archdiocese of Washington, Office of Youth Ministry and the Catholic Youth Organization.

Youth Ministers meet on Sunday mornings to receive instruction in the high school curriculum (Renewing the Vision) from October through May. Through the programs, events and activities the Youth Ministers learn about personal and spiritual growth in such a way that they will be able to confront real challenges in real life, as well as developing their gifts and talents by participating in various service projects to benefit their parish family and the wider community
